RISE IN SHARES. (PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGRAM.) AUCKLAND, May 6. Another advance took place in Waihi shares to-day, sales being mado from 35b Gd to 3Ss Cd. The following cablegram has been dispatched to London: —"No. 10 level, Royal lode, west of No. 5 shaft, crosscut lift driven (214ft —225 ft), 14s per ton. Empire.lode, west crosscut, at 444 ft, south section of. lode, laat 3ft (15ft—18ft), 31s Gd per ton; Bft driven to the west £2 4s p-ir ton; the total depth of No. 2 shaft is 1222 ft. The total depth of No. 4 ehaft 1245 ft. At 1237 ft have mot a lode, first 3ft £1 2s per ton. The courso of the lode is 33 degrees (true) -underlying west, the dip of tho vein one in three. This is of 'importance, because it eliows the existence of payable ore in tho lowest level."
