Another stage has been reached in the caso against Samuel Gompors, president of the Federation of Labour, John Mitchell, vice-president, atftl Frank Morrison, secretary, who on June 25th last woro sentenced for contempt of Court in connection with a trial involving a Labour dispute.* Tho Court of Appeal sustained the conviction, but reduced the sentence passed on Gompers to thirty days. The others' were fined £100 without imprisonment.
