Tho Scott Fund Mansion House Committee have allocated £12,493 to supplement tho Government's annuities for tho relatives, £1848 to discharging liabilities of the expedition, £6112 to the memorial, and the allocation of £35,665 has not yet been decided.
Sir E. Speyer stated that Commander Evans estimated that the Australian contributions would be at least £9000, and there' had still to come tho proceeds from tho cinematograph pictures and tho sale of the Terra Nova, against which they had the cost of publishing the scientific results The committee had nothing to do with the profits from tho diaries, which belonged to tho families of the authors.
