Some b/>ys saw the open gravo on March 30th, id tho following day Miss Mitchell disappeared, saying'that'she was going to Canada. No search was mado until her false set of teeth were found in a wood a fortnight later. A search revealed that the gravo had been filled in. Miss Mitchell -was fully dressed, and Lad been shot in the head.

Wm. Barton, a gamekeeper, who is married, has been detained in connection with the affair.
