DOMAIN BOARD.
The Christchurch Domain Jioard met last evening. Present: Mr H. .«. Beswick (chairman), and Messrs v. Jamieson, J. JltcCullough, «,, , Morris > S- A. Staples, and xl. Holland.
The United Bowling, Tennis, and Croquet Club, whose grounds are situated in Hagley Park, appiied for an extension o f their grounds covering an area of two acres, in order to allow members of the Board to see the ground, the request- was left in a bey- , ance nntil next meeting. ' On a recent occasion a motor-car was driven through Hagley rark, and the owner of the car wrote regretting having done so, stating that he was not aware that it was contrary to tno bylaws. The letter was received. °«fra from Miss Cholmondeley and Mr H. L. Bowker, of shrubs for planting on Carlton Reserve, were accepted. reported that tJiero was a credit balance of £746 Hβ Id at April 30th.
