CHRISTCHURCH MEAT COMPANY.
An interesting exhibit showing an important side of ono of SSqw Zealand s leading industries is shown by tho Christchurch Meat Company, Limited, in one of Kineaid's windows in Uolombo street. Although the display is a small one, iv sorves to demonstrate tho extent of the meat preserving industry carried on by the company. Attractively arranged in tho window are a number of different sized tins containing various kinds of meat extracts, and different preserved meats, such as tongues, beef. etc. The goods have oeen prepared and made up for sale in different sizes so that the wants of a small family may bo catered for as well as the requirements of a larger household. The goods are put on sale in an attractive manner, and in every case quality is found to be an outstanding featuro of the goods. The Christchurch Meat Co., Ltd., is one of the leading businesses in New Zealand dealing with one of the principal commercial assets, and the company has paid much attention to the preserves sklo of tho business. In this direction New Zealand has to compete with other countries, but tho Christchurch j Meat Co. has armed itself against this \ by catering fully for the public's .needs ! by producing a great variety of' meat i extracts, tinned moats, etc., of the 1 highest quality, and tho exhibit at Kincaid's is -well worthy of inspection.
