(rRESS ASSOCIATION - TFXtORAM.) NELSON. May 5. The inquest on the body of Percy "W..Barnett. aged 37, chief engineer of the Kennedy, disclosed the fact that deceased spent Saturday walking round with a relative from Greymouth, and returned to the ship none the "worse for the walk. He was found dead in his berth at midnight. The medical evidence showed that death was due to hemorrhage of the- brain caused by a tumour. A verdict was returned accordingly.
