NOTES.
After tho third race on Wednesday a presentation will bo made on behalf of the New Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club, the New Brighton Trotting Club, and tho Canterbury Park Trotting Club, to their secretary, Mr A. I. Rattray. Members of the three clubs are cordially invited to be present on tho lawn in front of the stewards' stand.
There will bo plenty of racing in New Zealand to-day, as the Auckland Racing Club's and Wairaraoa Racing Club's Autumn Meetings, which opened on Saturday, will be continued, and in addition there are the Meetings of the Canterbury Jockey Club, WaTpukurau Jockey dub, Feilding Jockey Club, Riverton Racing Club, Kumara Racing Club, and Benumont Jockey Club. The Wanganui Trotting Club's Annual Meeting will also be continued to-day. The chief attraction of the Australian Jockey Club's Autumn Meeting at Randwiek to-day is the Sydney Cup, in which there is a good field engaged. The Champagne Stakes will afford an opportunity for another meeting between Radnor and Beragoon. Mr J. Hymers, owner of Soldiers' Chorus, recently purchased Lupulite for 150 soys.
