Speaking to a "Star" reporter today the Minister remarked that the Government felt that serious attention was due to the question of reafforestation. It was a very complex problem, ho said, because thero were such varied interests at stake. They had to consider the interests ot tho settters, also the reservation of existing timber areas, and further still the question of planting trees to supply the timber ot tho future. He expected practical results from tho recommendations of a practical Commission.
