OINCE the now world-famous victory " in tho French Grand Prix of 191-2, the SUNBEAM has continued its victorious career by annexing tho following World's Records:— 12 hours. 1000 miles, 5-mile, 1 mile, and 30 miles, ar.d including all intermediate records from 3 to 11 hours. All these records were broken on a 12-16 h.p. car—with an ordinary Standard 1&-1 C h.p. engine, and with only slight modifications, such as high gearing, for racing purposes. The distance covered in 12 hours was 911 miles, and tho half mile record was at the rate of 101 miles per hour. When the small power of the engino is considered, these figures are truly astounding.
