ADAMS LTD. START THE NEW YEAR RIGHT.

Tho year which has just passed has been a successful one with the firm of Adams Ltd., and tho solid record of business built up in 1912 augurs well for tho firm's success in the New Year 1913. Started twenty-three years ago in a very small way, tho bumness has grown steadily year by year, the result of a policy of straightforward dealing, of giving satisfaction to tho public, and of presenting tho very best and the very latest of cycles, motor cycles, and motor cars. During 1912 the Silent Knight Minerva car, which signalised its introduction to the market by annexing tho highest awards in tho Canterbury Autoraobilo Association's reliability trials, has increased its high reputation attong educated motorists, and to-day stands alono in New Zealand motordom aa the car, par excellence, for silence, lightness, nnd mechanical perfection. Tho new light Clement-Bayard cars, introduced during the year, havo won by their moderate price, absolute reliability, and marvellous economy in rnniung, a very wide popularity. Tho American Studebakcr cars—-the 30 h.p. E.M.F., and 20 h.p.. Flanders have "made good" so unmistakably and emphatically that the firm is planning to placo 10CO of these sturdy well-built oars in the hands of satisfied owners during the coining year. In motor cycles the "Triumph" has maintained its popularity to such an extent that most of tho motor cycles seen on tho streets in New Zealand to-day are "Triumphs," and we have placed the biggest annual order ever given south of tho Lino for any make of motor cycle for "Triumphs" during the coming year. The beautifully-decigned "8.5.A." has also won a warm corner in the motor cyclist's heart, especially as a sidecar machine. In bicycles "Swifts" have attained during the year their record of popularity. In the road races organised by the Swift Cycling Club fields of over 100, all on "Swifts," have faced the starter. Tho new bluefinish "Superb Swifts" have added still further to tho popularity of this, the world's best bicycle. Yes, the close of 1912 finds Adams Ltd. in a front rank position—able to offer tho best and biggest selection of cars, motor cycles and cycles of any firm in Australasia. And because wo welcome investigation of what we havo to sell, wo have an "open door" policy in all our departments. During the coming year we hope to welcome all our old clients and a great many now ones, but whether clients or not, we invito anyone interested to look over our cars, cycles, and motor cycles.
