WAINONI PARK.

Wainoni Park was visited by largo ! numbers of lioiidaymakers yesterday, '■ and tho many attractions provided all w.th a good day's amusement. >. The Zoo, with its fine and varied collection or animals, the uioying-picturo show, and the new aquarium proved the main centres of interest. In.addition to the usual pictures, a display was given with the Pathe homo cinematograph, which wiia greatly appreciated. Concerts by the Dutch Dolls took place in the afternoon and evening t and a firework display was given in the arena in tho evening, some beautiful pieces being shown. The results of tno baby show which was held during the day aro as follow:—First prize £1, Mrs McCallum (baby aged 8 months); second prize 1 10.s, Mrs Scott (baby aged 7 months): third prize os, Mrs Steinman (baby , aged 14 months).
