RICCARTON SCHOOL.
The nnnunl distribution of prizes in connection with tho Kiccarton School took place, on Thursday afternoon. There ivae * good ftttendanoo of parents, and afternoon teawwaifj f provided by the elder girls. The chairman of the school committee, Mr 11. Manhire, presided. Every pupil in the school received a book. The following is the special prize list:—Standard Vl.—Dux, Alfred Shirley (gold medal, presented by Mr Chas.
