The barometer has men in the South but fallen in tho No.th. The winds have hoen variable, with eoutherhes predominating. ' ~ , Present indications aro for strong southerly windß generally, with showery and changeable weather. Heavy rain is probable between East Cape and Ca.tlepoint. The barometer •will probably rise everywhere soon.
