Tho death of Mr James Henderson last week, from injuries received in a motor-car accident, was referred to at yesterday's meeting of the North Canterbury Hospital Charitable , Aid Board. A motion of sympathy with the relatives of the late Mr Henderson, expressing appreciation of his services, was carried. At the meeting of the North Canterbury Executive of tha Farmers' Union yesterday, the chairman, Mr G. Sheat, referred to tho death of Mr Henderson, who. he said, had been vice-president of tho Dunsandel branch, and had been associated with the Farmers' Union since its inception. A expressing sympathy with Mrs Henderson and family, was carried in silence.
