'~ ped for its purposo in tho Southern = \';- Hemisphere. Tho internal _r« .' rangemeiits .. of tho building "" seem to be very well thought out! Tho main telegraph counter is surmounted by a beautiful dome, and tho internal nrrauccnicnts aro ___ic : ent to enablo the business of tho oSce to bo, ' transacted with room and to -pare, for years. The counters are arranged behind figured copper gratings, and the lctter-postins annexo is also well arranged. The Telegraph Offico will be fitted up-according to tho very latest ideas, and all* messages will bo sent through specially constructed tubes to the operators, and the clearing houso on the next flat is equipped with a dv. •, regard to expedition and efficiency.
