This evening tho engine-room was pumped dry, and much valuable auxiliary machinery is now being retrieved. Tho main engines aro practically undamagod by their long immersion in tho water, and will be left in their place, Mr Langlands hoping to use them to propel the vessel to Auckland when he has completed his task, (He is very confident of success now, and hopes in a few weeks to be able to hand the big steamer over to tho workmeti at Calliope Dock, Auckland.
