LINWOOD CLUB.
The final for the Ladies' Championship of tho Linwood Club was played on Saturday, when Miss Johnston, the present holder, beat Miss Cuthbert 6-3, 6-3.
ASCOT CLUB.
Mr J. H. Parker, a vice-president of the Ascot Tennis Club, New Brighton, has presented the Club with a valuable trophy to be competed for during the present season. Th© competition will be a handicap event, and will be open to all financial members of the Club.
