Of the -eiglit races decided at ilia *ew Zealand Metropolitan Trotting Club 9 -Meeting yesterday, no fewer than five were won by A*. Pringle and F. Holmes. The former started promisingly, and annexed tho Erst two races on tho day's card with Ard Cairn and Country Belle, while Holmes st3ered Adonis, Berniallno, and Treasure Seeker to victory in their respective races. Sportsmen attending the racing carnival should not fail to invest in » copy of the -'Xew Zealand Turf Register," containing results of the pas* season's racing and trotting. They will find the book invaluablo to them, and tho records of each horse are shown at a glance, whether first, second, third or unplaced. A racing man's library jis not completo if it is minus any [ issues. Should any back numbers be required, why not secure them at once, i while they are obtainable?
