The r.-ew arrivals include Diabalo, Countermine, Salute.'Uranium,'Whi:« Cockade, Master Pnu\ Torbelle, Hawirk, Julian, Continuance Pnisanb, Crown Pear.', Royal Arms, Ar magh, Hs-uterc. Shuja, Courtl-ey, Pir'wai, Glcnow«', St. Kevin, Patriotic. Mulga Bill, Icel, Idealit-m, Sir Tristram, Boliin, Peary, and Outwa-d. .
Brown Trout easily beat Alexis' over six furlong-i on the grass, and Sa'.uto and La Reina did a mi c. at a gocd three-quarter pace. Torbelle .McF'inn) and Hawick 'McSwceney) were schooled once round tho steeplechase fences, and bath jumped well. Piriwai beat Glenowlet over five furlong's, run in lmin 12 3-Sth sec, and Crown Peari, whh tho advantage in the weights, held Royal A- m's safe over the fame distance in lmin 15sec. Taiaha (McFlinn) and Captain Jirg!e (Jce O'Connel) gave a finished display over tho steeplechase fences, and Armagh (McFlinn) and Hi uter-a (Decry) were given similar tasks, -bsth fencing we 1. Ccmpnss (T. Jones) Paritutu (V. Coleman), and Zante (F. Porter) were asssciated in a circuit over the steeplechase course. The two first-named ou .'-paced Zante, and each jumped well, Compass shaping most creditably for a ncvice. All the others wei*e restrictcfl to moderate exercise. -
Antarctic will not corape'-e at the meeting, and it is unlikely that he will race again for s-mo timo.
