WEST-HAYWARD PICTURES.
The large audience at His Majesty's Theatre, last night thoroughly enjoyed the new programme of \V est-Hayward Pictures, which was of a varied and interestmg character. A film that mad«* a strong and successful appeal to all classes was the series depicting the competition at Monaco between Kenans, tho French hydro-pianist, and motor boats., The excitement when t-lie hydro-plane is seen out-distancin«-the motor boats going at close upon tS y mf* n hour - was mos ** noticeable. Tho dramatic studies were well chosen and in one, "The Banker's Daughter," additional interest was imparted by the chase of the villain of tho piece in iceboats. The other dramatic S#^. wer « " A Gw's Honour" and The Circus." A film of considerable interest, which was keenly followed, depicted the habits of the dormouse. An excellent scenic film pictured winter in the Upper Engadine, and the beautiful panorama of snow-capped peaks was most striking. The latest Pathe Uazette was a representative one, deputing the latest doings in the world. Tho comedy pictures were well chosen, " Alkal - Beats Broncho Bill, College Swcothearts," and "A Cure for Pokeritis." To-night the same programmo will bo given.
