RANGIORA.
The members of the Rangiora Loyal Orange Lodge held their annual social on Friday oyening, and notwithstanding that the weather was bad there was a large attendance. The music was supplied by Humphrey's band, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed themselves. On Sunday evening the memb6rs. of tho to the number of about forty, hold a church parade to St. John's Church,-'<Rangiora, when the Rev. F. P.7Fendall preached a special and very appropriate sermon, taking for his terb passages in the ninth chapter of St. John.
A meeting of representatives of counties between the Waipnra and Waimakariri rivers is expected to be hold today at Rangiora, to discuss tho question of by-laws'- regulating "traction traffic on roads, and 1 for tho'licensing'of traction-engihes and vehicles.
