CONGRATULATIONS FROM THE WEST COAST.

. GREYMOUTH. July 14. On the Hon. W. F. Masscy's elevation to tho Premiership, a number of Hokitika supporters of the Reform Party sent a telegram of congratulation to him and his party. An invitation was also extended to tho new Prime Minister to visit Westland. Yesterday the following reply was received: —"Many thanks to you all for your kind telegram of congratulations on tho formation of ray Ministry. Ono and all will do their utmost to prove worthy and work in the best interests' of tho country. I phall Iro-k fo-ward with pleasure to vis'tinn Westland in the near future. —W. F. Massey."
