FOR AND AGAINST THE STRIKE.
Mr Wright, chairman of the Sailors' and Firemen's executive, has . warned members against obeying tho transport workers' call until a ballot has been taken, . Tho Barry dockers unanimously refused to obey the summons for al general strike. Tho Manchester dockers aro enthusiastic for a strike. Mr Miller, a delegate to the National Union of Labour, speaking at Newcastle, said they had not been consulted in tho dispute, and had no quarrel with tho employers. Mr Gosling had no authority to include tho North-East Coast in a national striko.
