WAIHI, May 30. Strike affairs have now drifted to tho ordinary routino of killing time and waiting for something to turn up. Comparatively few men were , to to seen about tho streets to-day. A dull period may bo looked forward to till tho conference takes place, but it-is exceedingly doubtful whether this will result in a satisfactory settlement.
