SPRINGSTON STOCK SALE.
At Springston, on Monday, there was yarded, at Messrs Pyne and Co.'s sale yards. 3078 sheep, 82 head of cattle, 103 pigs, five horses, and sundries. ■ The attendance of buyers was largo, ■ and competition was very keen. Chamberlain, 29 ewes at lls 7d; for Mr Pat Gillau, wethers at 20s; for Mr W. Foster, wethers at 19s. Store sheep cold well as follows:—For Sir Jno. Chamberlain, 152 forward lambs , at
12s 6d; For Mr A. F. Mooro, 43 aged ewes at 8s 3d; for Mr A. H. Kimbor, i 52 two-tooth owe:} at 15s; 33 ditto at I 13s 6d; for Mr W. J. Kimc, 268 etoro lambs at 10s Id; for Mr 11. Boyle, 9*3 aged ewes at 8s od. There was a good demand for both fat and stoic cattle, j. at full ■ current rates, and pip?, both. I fats and stores, sold well. Harness j horses sold at from X'2o to £'2S lfts.
