The recent firming in tbe prices of wheat and oats has made Growers loss inclined to sell. Prices remain without change, both for wheat and oats. There is a good deal of shipping going on, principally oats, to AustraliaOatsheaf chaff is firmer, and - sales have taken place.at £2.17s 6d to £3, at near country stations. The notato market is alittlo firmer, though thero appears to he some- doubts as to what are the real values. Sales ; have taken nlaco at £4 12s 6d to £4 | ]ss, and for immediate requiremeiits more has been offered at handy stations. It is stated that a shipment of potatoes is being made from Tiniaru to Sydney. The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at country stations, freo of commission, except irher© otherwise stated. . .
