I The secretary of the Lancaster Park IJoard wroto statinu that a" fete would bo hold in aid cf the Park funds ca Doceiwhor 16tJi, also that they had decided to call a mooting of representatives from sports clubs in Christchurch on May 13th. A letter was received from tiio secretary of the New Zealand Coun-.u! stating that following a suggestion made, by the Otago Association they hnd decideil to hold a conference of delogntrs from the Auckland. "Wellington, Canterbury, Otago and Hawked Hay Associations, to discuss the lines on which the l'lunket matches should be played and to try to arrant I scheme for regulating "matches between the various first-class associations. It was, decided that the Canterbury As-* sociation should send a delegate to tho conference.
