LONDON, May 6. Tho" weather was fine for the Derby-shire-South Africa match. The former batted first, and were all out for 143. The South Africans started badiy, Morton dismissing Strieker and Faulkner when only two runs had been scored. When stumps were drawn, tho visitors were 13 runs behind with three wickets to fall.
