Playing at Lyttelton, Sydenham just beat the homo team by 2 goals to 1. Ward scored both goals for the winners, while Williams netted successfully for Lyttelton. Mr Holdens was referee. Playing on the South Park. Celtic beat. Sydenham by 6 to 3.'Harrison (3), O. Gordon, Watte, and'Rol,lo scored for the winners. West Christchurch School A team and East •Christchurch School played a friendly game at St. Albans Park. Some fine play was shown by the boys. West, won by four soak to nil. V.M.C.A. had the bye on Saturday, so filled in the day by playing their juniors, and only managed to win by the narrow margin of 2 goals to 1. The seniors will have to jmy attention to training if they want to keen in the team, as the scores indicate they havo riotix -, fine juniors coming on.
