If you hare I j ever watched by the sick bed of a child ! cannot you feel for thoso mothers iis--1 tening in agony to the cry of their littlo ones wailing for food. You do not approve of strikes!—who does? But the children who are elying of hunger and cold aro not only the children of strikers but of the'many thousand's who through no fault of their own having been thrown out of work. Cannot yon give to-day— to-morrow will be too lato—just, the price of a new a hat. or oven a pair of gloves—■ and if sorrow or sickness ever falls on these littlo ones you love so much you will be comforted to fee! you havo helped some other noor mother and her children in their direst need. I ONLY A WOMAN.
