Admiral Sir j Archibald Milne succeeds Admiral Sir I Edmund Poe in command of the : Mediterranean squadron, and Rear- ' Admiral Arthur H. Limnus succeeds ! Rear-Admiral Hugh P.' Williams as j naval adviser to Turkey.
Sir Hodworth Meux s known to fame as Sir Hed.worth Lnmbton.. as under that surname ho commanded tho naval brigade tlia.t saved Ladysmith in tho South African War. Ho was Comman-der-in-Chief on tho China Station from 1908 to 1910. As he was born in 1856, ho has several moro years' service iv front of him before reaching tho retiring age.
