ENGINEERS' AWARD.
Tn the cast* of the Canterbury Engineers' award ("Christchurch branch') the following int-'rprtt tioa )::n been made: —All time lost by an apprentice, either through his own default or through sickness, in any year of his apprenticeship, shall be made up beforo such apprentice shall be considered as having entered upon the next succeeding year of his apprenticeship; but an apprentice working overtime shall uav&i.uch time added to his ordinary timo in calculating the respective years of his apprenticeship. The clause does not apply to time lost before the award came into force.
