.Rccc!Ve-l April lOtb. II p.m., LONDON. April 10. There has been a partial resumption in South Wales owing to the colliery officials acting as cnginemen. Elsewhere the miners are preventing this. Six hundred miners al Leigh, Lancashire, despite the police, compelled the miners at the Abranis colliery to i-oaso work. Similar disorder occurred at Rentley, near Doncaster. The enginenien at Durham have accepted the mine-owners' -term.-. There is much trouble in Lancashire through Air Grcenall, President of the Lancashire and Cheshire Federation, stating that the AA'ages Boards will give the miners Gd per day more if the strike continues for another week. D'strict AVages Boards have been formed in a majority of districts. South Wales, South Yorkshire, and Lancashire have agreed to the appointment of au independent chairman. North AVales, Somerset. AVarwickshire. Northumberland, Durham, and South Derbyshire failed to agree. Tho Board of Trade is nominaing chairmen. Altogether two hundred thousand miners are working.
