SHIPPING NOTES.
The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Athenic, from London, via Plymouth and Capetown, arrived at Hobart lato on Sundny evening, and was to leave laet night for AVcllington, where eho is due on Saturday morning, four days late. The Athenic has 20C0 tons of cargo for Lyttolton, and is due her© on Friday, 29th in st. The Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Teinui, bound from Wellington to London, -left Rio de Janeiro last Friday evening. The New Zealand Shipping Company's steamer Otaki is to sail'to-day for Waitara and Wellington to complete loading for London.
A shortage of trucks caused considerable delay to vessels discharging cargo' in port yesterday. Tho departure w the Storm tor Southern ports has been postponed until today. The Tyser Line steamer Indrapnra is to Ball at noon to-day for Wacganui roadstead and other North Island ports, to complete loading for London.
The schooner Lily, and tho scow Eunice, left port yesterday afternoon, and set sail with a fnir wind. The former is bound for Greymouth and the latter to Havelock. 'lho Eotuku will sail to-night, taking general cargo for Greymouth. The Whangape is due here ibis afternoon ftom Newcastle via Dunedin, to discharge the balance of her cargo of c~l. Sho -will leave about tho end of the week with grain ar.d live stock for Sydney. :/ The Kini, which loft Greymoutb at 9.13 a.m. on Sunday, passed Cape Campbell at 2 p.m. yesterday on her way to Lyttelton, v.here she is due early " this morning. The Pukaki. which left Greymouth «jt 9.30 a.m. on Sunday, pas?ed Stephen lawnd at 10 a.m. yesterday, and is due here about noon to-day. The Kini is loaded with timber, and the Pukaki with coo.l. 'J he-Teviuni leit yesterday afternoon on her return to Xapier, for another !oad of cheep. She is due back here on Thursday or Friday, and wi!l afterwards proceed to ISapier. The Waihora sailed last night for Timaru to dischereo portion of her cargo of coal. She will load grain at Timaru «> d Lyttelton for Sydney.
