WEST COAST NOTES.
(special to "the pbess"). GREYMOUTH. March 18. One of the largest land deals which has taken nlace on the West Coast for a considerable time was concluded today, when Messrs Jones and Horrell, of Canterbury, purchased from Mr J. O'Donnell the Ercildowne Estate in the Grey Valley.
Branches of the New Zealand Farmers' Union are about to be formed at the varrous farming centres on the West Coast.
