Mr W. Graham Nicholson, Unionist M.P. for Hampshire, speaking at Petersfield, said that if tho Government Bill were carried it would be a prelude to every trade union demanding a similar benefit.
. Mr Straker, secretary of the Northumberland Miners' Union, speaking in Northumberland, said that the Government's attitude was the beginning of the recognition of a minimum wage in all industries.
