(PRESS AfftO'JTATIOX TELEGRAMS.) "\VEST?ORT, March 16. At the Supreme Court to-day Charles Morley, aged 25, was charged with carnally kuowiug a girl under the nae ot 16, at Waiuta. The first jury yesterday disagreed, and at tho second trir.l today a verdict of guilty was returned, and accused was sentenced to twelve months' imprisonment. Mr Justice DenBiston proke in scathing ternia of the prisoner's conduct when sentencing him.
BLENHEIM, March 16. On a charge of breaking and entering Clouston's bond James flaydon, William and William Kennedy were found not guilty.
