"At the fortnightly meeting of tho Ixiyal Leeston Lodjje of Oddfellows, M.1?., P.G.s Bros. W. Parkin and J. A. 3?ngland wefo appointed delegates to attend tho District meeting to be held on tho i'lst irist.' P.ti. Bro. D. McVirenio wrote resigning his office as treasurer, owing to his leaving the district. Tho following resolution was carried: —"That the Lodjjo accepts with regret the resignation of P.G. Bro. D. McVinnie, and expresses its apprecia- . tion of his many services to tho Lodge, and wishes him success wherever ho may go." : \ At tho fortnightly meeting of tho Loyal Addington Lodge, the N.G., Bro. "J. A. Clnrko, jun..' presided over a good attendance. The sick visitors' retwrt was very satisfactory, only ono brother • hems on tho funds. A lecture in the Scarlet Degree was given by the . L.M.. Bro,. A. L. Gourlay, P.P.G.M., , ,T}ro. J. Mclleo taking tho degree. Cer'tificntes wcro granted to Bro. TV. J. >' Hill, P.G., to enable him to take- his , Pnrplo Dcgreo at Kaiapoi on March • 21st.
