LONDON, March 16
In-tho House of Commons a Bill was read a second time alloning a Parliamentary grant to local authorities of half a million annually towards housing operations. Tho Bill empowers tho Local Government Board to deal with slums at the cost of the local authority when tho latter is negligent.
