M r I* Irving's admirable interpretation of the. 1 complex character of the Prince of Donmark held tho close attention of th* audience throughout. To-night "namlet" will bo staged again. Of "Louis X 1.," to be produced at the Theatro Royal on Thursday and Friday, one of tho leading London critics writes:—"Mr H. B. Irving scores - a triumph in the role of Louis XI. Do delights his playgoers with his natural, human, and understandable interpretation. After tho tall, handsomo Hamlet, it is almos{- impossible that tho frail) bent, withered, widened figure which tottered about the stage wns beneath th* masterly make-up, nnd the oxtraordin- , nry simulation, Mr H. Tho plans for the last six nights will bo opened at Milner. and Thompson's to-morrow (Tuesday) morning nt 8 o'clock. A queue will be formed from 7.30 a.m. The date for receiving the essays on "Hamlet" has been extended to " March 9th.
