WANGANUI TRAINING NOTES.
(press association telegram.) WANGANUI, February 2G. There wae beautiful weather this morning. Dearest, ridden by H. Telf ord, ran a mile end a half in 2min 42sec, finishing strongly. Royal Anns galloped seven furlongs in lrnin 29 3-Sth sec, and Royal Scotch six furlongs in- lmin 16Jseo. St. Petersburg and St. Felix did a mile together at a eolid pace, and Autumnus and Stepney were associated over a fast four furlongs, »s were Dirge and Aloha. Midnight Sun covered a mile and five furlongs in fast time, the first five furlongs taking lmin ssec. Ho then picked up-Gran-dee, and the pair ran the last seven furlonge at a good working gallop, finishing together. Domino was_ in greet heart, and did two circuits, finishing strongly. Golden Loop covered six furlongs in lmin 15 4-sth sec, the best gallop .of the morning. Master Sylvia galloped five furlongs in lmin 3 2-sth eec, and Thoodore ran seven furlongs in lmin 32sec, the last six taking lmin 16 2-sth sec.
