"The Witness for the Defence" was repeated by the Ethel Irving Company at the Theatre Royal last night, before a crowded house. The play aroused intense interest, and the splendid work of the company raised«the audience to a high state of enthusiasm. The season will close to-night, when "The Witness for the Defence" will be repeated for the last time. "■
