INDICATIONS OF THE STRIKE ENDING.
MR COYNE STILL SANGUINE. BRISBANE, February 26. Mr Coyne denies the rumour that the Strike Committee decided to order all the strikers excepting the tramway employees to resume work on Tuesday. He declares that the miners and the wharf-labourers will remain out aa long as they are required to. Notwithstanding this declaration, there are indications that the strike 18 ending. Work is proceeding on the wharves steadily. A eteamer left on Saturday for the Gulf country, where supplies are running short, no steamer having visited there for five weeks.
