LITTLE RIVER SPORTS CLUB'S ANNUAL MEETING.

The annual meeting of the Little River Sports Club was he:d on tho racecourse, Little River, on Boning Day. The running tracks were very heavy and the pleasure of the day's outing was spoilt by occasional ehowers of iair/in the rnorniug, tho aftornoon, however, being beautifully bright. Tho day's outing attracted a number of holidaymakers from Chrislchurch, and tho special train was well filled. H. P. Giddens won tho medal for most points in athletic events and Uγ I. Birdling's trophy in the- 100 yds open. J. Henry -won Mr W. F. Parkinson's cup for most points in cycling events. The following aro the results: — 120 yds Hurdles—A. Shadbolt 1, H. P. Giddena 2, D.
