OXFORD.
In spite of the unfavourable weathor, a very successful concert, under the auspicios of tho Ladies' Committee of the Oxford A. and P. Association, was hold in tho East Oxford Town Hall on Tuesday night. Mr W. "Wold, president of tho Association, presided, and musical and other items were given by Missos Seed and "Wright, Messrs J. and G. Struthere. Webster, Gibson, and Feary. Mr A. Seaxell was accompanist. Tho concert was followed by a daneo, which was well attended. Tho rain of Christmas Day was almost phonomonal for this time of tho year. For tho twenty-four hours ending on Tuesday morning, nearly two inches fell. All outdoor activities and amusements were suspended, and Christmas was spent indoors. There was a largo influx of visitors to Oxford.
