Eaatgat© (Auckland) 1, Sire J. D. Cray (Wellington) 2; third, fourth and fifth place in solo pianiat xeciial, Mr Baxter Buckley (Invtocargill}, Mies Barry Snodgtaaß (Te Puke), Mise A. Bidley (Dunedin); premier lady vocalist, Miss L. C. Ardner (New Lynn); premier male vocalist, Mr A, Bipler (Dunedin); pre--micr lady elocutionist, Mies Z. Bartley (Aucklana); p:«mier gentleman elocutionist, itr H. Borrodale (Auckland). Some interesting remarks on the competitions were -made by . Profeseor Ivea, who judged tha musical sections.
