Another scene of a dif- ;,. ferent eort was a mock waxworks, in ,V .which- Mr E Armstrong, assisted by •■>;> Boy Scout, was acting showman. ;v,.'"The Mermaid's Cavern Beneath the *~VJ3ea" produced some moro melodies and -tableaux. Plantation melodies, rwer« sung by Christie Ministrela, and a Qipsy Canro gave a chance for some $ pretty songs and delightful choruses. 4** Miss A. Saunders contributed a recitaL^t r tion, Mr Archie Mack a humorous '.Vwng, and Mr It. V. 'Morgan a violin ll'iplo. Tho ladies' chorus work and %d»i>ces were arranged by Mrs B. 8. Jhghillito, the nigger minstrels by Mr „ - ! W»tte, and the male choruses were r.;faandiicted by Mr W. Sherris.
