THE SUGAR WORKERS' STRIKE
BRISBANE, August 1. The Adelaido Shipping Company's office staff at Cairns placed a cargo of sugar aboard tho steamer Mintaro. The crew would not help, and a large crowd of strikers quietly watched tho work. A number of mills continue crushing.
