TRIBUTE BY THE HON. T. MACKENZIE.

Interviewed on Saturday, the Hon. T. Mackenzie made the following reference to the late Mr T. E. Taylor:— " The passing of Mr Taylor removes from Parliament the most interesting personality that has adorned its couneels for many years. He was a man of many parts—a great lover of Nature and tho beautiful. In conversation he possessed a most fascinating mannerIt may be said of him that he possessed the strength and weakness of a powerful man. There remains of him in our memory the picture of a man towering above his fellows jike some gigantic kauri rising majestically above the surrounding forest."
